South Moravia is not a place for rushing. The landscape reveals itself gradually — another line of vines behind every bend, a farm track, then a village tucked between low hills.
I left before sunrise. Low light drew long shadows across the fields, while the leaves still held the night’s dew. These are the moments I enjoy most when travelling: no one around, only silence and the first sounds of a waking day.
Photographing the landscape
Instead of racing between familiar viewpoints, I followed the smaller roads. The camera often stayed in my bag. First came the time to observe the place and understand its rhythm; only then did I begin looking for a photograph.
